Greener Mug Challenge 2008

Copo para eventos e espectáculos, espalmável e reutilizável; pode ser guardado num bolso ou mala. Objectivo: reduzir ou substituir a utilização em massa dos copos de plástico descartáveis. Copo destinado a conter sobretudo cerveja, preservando as mais importantes características desta bebida. Feito em silicone, material que ajuda a manter a temperatura da cerveja, mesmo em contacto com as mãos quentes.

A forma cónica do copo cria uma zona de “prisão” para a espuma da cerveja. O interior e o bordo superior são reves-tidos por uma película metálica, afastando o contacto entre a mão e a cerveja, e entre a boca e o silicone, ainda ajudando a manter a temperatura da cerveja. Cores relacionadas com a marca da cerveja ou a imagem do evento; podem funcionar como elemento identificador ou recordação do evento.

Glass meant to use on events, concerts or other shows, can be flattened and reused; can be kept on a pocket or bag. Goal: reduce or replace the mass use of disposable plastic glasses. Glass meant to contain mostly beer, preserving this drink’s most important characteristics. Made on silicone, material that helps to maintain the beer temperature, when we hold it with warm hands.
The glass’s conic shape creates a “prison” zone to the beer bubbles. The glass’s inside and top are covered with a metalic thin film, avoiding contact between the hand and the beer, and between the mouth and the silicone, also helping to maintain the beer tempeature. Colours related to the beer brand or the event’s image; they can work as an identifying element or a memory of the event.

Nagoya Design Do! International Competition

Criar ou estimular os hábitos de leitura, fazendo-a chegar às pessoas de um modo pouco convencional. Criar nas pessoas uma vontade de ler e conhecer mais, através de algo tão básico como a comida. Projecto que consiste em placas de massa para lasanha, com poemas ou pequenos textos em relevo. Os textos são da autoria de grandes escritores mundiais, e estarão disponíveis em vários idiomas. As placas podem ser utilizadas (”comer cultura”) ou guardadas, como curiosidade.

Placas feitas em Sêmola de trigo; as letras serão moldadas durante o fabrico. Placas vendidas em conjunto de 5 (200gr); cada conjunto corresponde a um autor.
As placas serão embaladas num saco de celofane, e colocada numa embalagem quadrangular de cartão, com formato de livro, na qual será indicado o autor correspondente aos poemas e uma pequena biografia do mesmo.

Create or stimulate reading habits, leading it to people through an unconventional way. Make the people want to read and know more, through something as basic as food. The project consists on lasagna paste plaques, with poems or small texts written in high relief. The texts are from world-famous writters, and will be available in several languages. The plaque can be used (”eat culture”) or kept, as a curiosity.
The plaques are made in wheat semolina; the letters will moulded during fabrication. The plaques will be sold in groups of 5 (200gr); each group corresponding to one writter.
The plaques will be packed in a celophane bag, and put in a cardboard package, which resembles a quadrangular book. On this package, it will be indicated the writter of the poems, along will a small biography of him.

Caneta com carga em espiral e uma maior quantidade de tinta disponível. Aumento do tempo de vida útil da caneta. A carga em espiral é também o corpo da caneta, onde pegamos para escrever. Caneta divertida e ergonómica, sem a típica seriedade das canetas para executivos, que se insere no mercado dos brindes.

Existe em 10 cores, algumas mais clássicas, outras mais vivas, que funcionam também como um modo de identificação com a empresa ou cliente.

A carga em espiral não perturba o fluir da tinta, e as cavidades que forma permitem encaixar os dedos de uma forma muito cómoda. Nas extremidades da espiral, existem duas esperas em titânio: uma é a tampa da caneta (onde pode ser inserido o logotipo da empresa) e a outra permite a entrada de ar na carga.

Embalagem composta por base e tampa, em poliestireno cinzento transparente, com o logotipo gravado na tampa.

Pen with a spiral ink charge and a larger quantity of available ink. The pen’s longevity is is extended. The spiral ink charge is also the body of the pen, which we hold to write. This is a fun and ergonomic pen, without the usual seriousness of the executive pens, inserted on the business gifts market.

There are 10 different colours, some more classic, other more bright, which also work as a way to identify the company or the client.

The spiral ink charge doesn’t disturb the flowing of the ink, and the cavities that are formed allow us to hold the pen in a very comfortable way. On the extremities of the spiral, there are two titanium spheres: one is the pen’s cover (which may have the logo of the company) and the other allows the air to enter the ink charge.
